Remembrance Ride 2013

On Sunday 10th November 2013 the third annual 11:11 Remembrance Ride took place at  David Lloyd club in Warrington.
A total of 45 riders cycled thoughout the day with:
          Brian New
          Nige Taylor, and          
          Simon Darlington
riding for the full 11 hours and 11 minutes, and others riding between an hour and six hours for a total distance covered on the day of 3010 kms / 1882 miles (the equivalent of Lands End - John O'Groats and back). 
The ride raised a total of £783 in collection buckets and sponsorship on the day, with further amounts to be collected in from sponsors - hopefully raising over £1700 in total for the two charities SSAFA (National Armed Forces Charity) and Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation. 
I'd like to say a massive THANK YOU to all riders, supporters and sponsors for helping make this event a success yet again.
